Today (October 5th), the fourth Congress of Binh Duong Young Entrepreneurs’ Association (the term 2012-2015) took place in the common hard situation of the economy of the country, many businesses were facing with lots of difficulties, even going bankcrupt. Helping young entrepreneurs steady to “surf” in the crisis going to success was the matter that the Congress paid attention about.

Exchanging with reporters of Youth Newspaper before the Congress, Mr Mai Huu Tin, President of Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association cum President of Binh Duong Young Entrepreneurs’ Association (YEA), asserted “There haven’t been any businesses who are members of our association having to go bankcrupt”. However, he shared: “There are at least two businesses who are members of Binh Duong YEA facing with lots of difficulties, even members of the association have to support money to pay school fee for their children, the owners of the businesses have to sell cars and go to work by motorbikes. Talking like that to see that the current hard situation of common businesses in the whole country is very difficult to solve. Therefore, helping businesses to “surf”, leading to community, contributing positively for economic activities of the country, etc have been going to the guideline, objectives of Binh Duong YEA in particular and Vietnam YEA in general” shared Mr Mai Huu Tin.
With the annual turnover of member of Binh Duong YEA reaching nearly VND 40,000 billion, creating jobs for more than 30,000 workers, contributing for social charity activities reaching more than VND 70 billion, etc Binh Duong young entrepreneurs have contributed positively into the economy- society development for the province, Southeast Region and the country.
Mr Mai Huu Tin showed that, this fourth Congress of Binh Duong YEA along with Vietnam YEA needed to consider to suggest for delivering a professional organization specializing on researching, advising, suggesting, forming policies about economy, at the same time joining to criticize economic policies of Government. Mr Tin analysed: “There are currently 66 member organizations directly under Vietnam YEA in the whole country with around 9,000 businesses (among them there are 500 big businesses, including some groups, state general companies) contributing yearly 1/4 (about USD 25 billion) for GDP of the country, among them there is Binh Duong YEA. With such a strong young-entrepreneur team, it will contribute a lot for the economic activities of the whole country”.
Attaining many prestigious prizes
Through 12 years of operation, till now Binh Duong YEA has had nearly 300 members who are owners of businesses, or representatives of businesses (under the age of 45) joining. Members have paid attention more on building brand names, increasing the assignment of broastcasting. Many brand names of Binh Duong have become familiar with domestic consumers and have been known in the overseas market. Besides the prestigious prize “Viet Land Golden Star” of Vietnam Youth Federation, many businesses of the province especially members of the association have also attained many other big prizes of international organizations such as Becamex, Hoa Sen, Dong A steel sheet, Dai Thien Loc, Dau Tieng Rubber, Oseven paint, etc.
Going with youngsters
Going with youngsters to establish their position in life, to set up in business are important objectives that Binh Duong YEA sets up. In the past few years, the association usually organizes exchanging and meeting programs so that students and young association members just establishing their business can have chances to exchange with successful entrepreneurs. Through those programs, many youngsters and young association members have learned and comprehended many useful things. Many successful entrepreneurs are also very open-minded, ready to share precious secret and invaluable experiences that they have accumulated in many years for youngsters. Typically Mr Le Nguyen Hong Phuong (members of Binh Duong YEA) is 1 among 5 typical entrepreneur lecturers going with youngsters to establish their position in life, to set up in business mobilized by Central Vietnam Youth Federation.
At this Congress, Binh Duong YEA also agreed to establish Binh Duong Young Entrepreneurs Corporation, with the role as the bridge to help promote common commerce for the whole association. Mr Mai Huu Tin expressed: “The different point of this company in comparision with other young businesses is that the initial capital of share holders contributed by association members will be taken over by the company itself when it is in stable operation, in order to make the company become the common asset of the association, to serve for objectives of the association, not for the share holders.” said Mr Tin.
